Commends Christlin Hester, an eight-year-old second-grader at Phil Campbell Elementary School in Alabama, for her outstanding achievement as a trailblazer at Camp Courage in October 2013.

Recognizes that Camp Courage is a three-day intensive program for visually impaired and hearing impaired children ages 7-14, sponsored by the Helen Keller Birthplace Foundation, American Optometric Association Foundation, University of North Alabama, and University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Notes that Christlin participated in the inaugural session of Camp Courage, which included educational, social, and inspirational activities such as arts and crafts, music, drama, field trips, and discussions.

Honors Christlin Hester for her diligent pursuit of excellence and sparkling personality, offering heartiest congratulations on her accomplishments with best wishes for continuing success.
