Recognizes the 56th Annual Debutante Ball and Presentation of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter, held in Huntsville, Alabama on February 21, 2014, with the theme "Portraits Reflecting Elegance, Grace and Purpose."

Acknowledges Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority as America's first Greek-letter organization founded by Black college women in 1908, with more than 950 chapters in over 550 U.S. cities and nine international cities.

Notes that the Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter initiated its debutante training program in 1957 to enrich cultural development of young women, with the first presentation held February 7, 1958, and more than 1,600 young women presented since then.

Commends 27 named 2014 debutantes including Timia Acklin, Patrese Bell, Phoebe Burns, and 24 others for their participation in the program emphasizing community service and civic and cultural participation.

Extends congratulations and best wishes to the Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter and the 2014 debutantes from the Alabama House of Representatives.
