House Resolution mourning the death of Mrs. Ann Marie Cleveland Williams, a lifelong Walnut Grove, Alabama resident who died January 14, 2014, at age 70.

Mrs. Williams was a 1961 graduate of Walnut Grove High School (later West End) who organized school reunions and community activities throughout her life.

She worked at poultry plants and retired from Goodyear in 1999 after more than 20 years of service; she also organized fundraising events for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and was active in the Etowah County Democratic Party and Walnut Grove Senior Citizens Program.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years Edward (Ned) Williams, daughter Sheila Thompson, grandchildren Cody Thompson and Saleta Thompson, and various siblings and extended family.

The House of Representatives offers this resolution in tribute to her legacy and extends heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.
