Commends Benjamin Joseph Garcia for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.

Garcia earned 29 Merit Badges and completed his Eagle Project by designing and building two foot bridges at Steagall Park Baseball Complex in Ozark, Alabama, including an ADA-compliant bridge for wheelchairs and strollers.

Garcia is a member of Boy Scout Troop 20 of Ozark and was scheduled to receive his Eagle Scout award on March 16, 2014.

Beyond Scouting, Garcia is a National Honor Society member at Carroll High School with a 3.67 GPA, has achieved Sergeant First Class rank in ROTC, and plans to pursue a double major in Music Performance and Marketing at the University of Alabama.

Directs that Garcia receive a copy of this resolution acknowledging his outstanding achievement and expressing best wishes for his future endeavors.
