Recognizes Jermarcus Brown for being selected the 1A Back of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writer's Association at the annual Mr. Football Banquet in Montgomery on January 15, 2014.

Brown, a standout football player for the Pickens County Tornadoes, holds a state record with 51 touchdowns and ranks fifth in state history for most touchdowns rushing and fourth in total touchdowns accounted for.

Brown earned selection to the ASWA Super All State Team, Tuscaloosa News Super 11 All Region Team Player of the Year Award, first team All State selection, and AL.com All Metro team; during his junior year he was named AL.com's Tuscaloosa Player of the Year.

Head Coach Patrick Plott commended Brown's vision, speed, and ability to excel at any football position.
