Recognizes the Huntsville Madison County Builders Association for its role in implementing the Alabama Energy Code uniformly across the City of Huntsville, City of Madison, and Madison County.

Acknowledges Madison County as the only county in Alabama enforcing the Alabama Energy Code uniformly across all three jurisdictions.

Commends the Association's nearly 16-month effort to develop, test, and educate the public about the Alabama Energy Code in partnership with Huntsville Utilities.

Credits the implementation as a statewide model of cooperation involving the Huntsville Madison County Builders Association, Huntsville Utilities, Mayor Tommy Battle, Madison County Commission Chairman Dale Strong, and Mayor Troy Trulock.
