Commends Reverend Augusta R. Narcisse for outstanding community contributions, including dedicated service to senior citizens and work as an educator.

Recognizes her 33-year career with the Dothan City Schools System after initially teaching at Rosenwald School in Newville, Alabama, and her distinction as the first Miss Bronze Dothan.

Honors her work serving seniors and families in Arizona and Alabama, including election to the Alabama Senior Citizens Hall of Fame, Class of 2012.

Acknowledges her leadership roles with the Older Women of America, Salvation Army coordination serving over 500 seniors, tutoring undereducated adults, and involvement with the Stringer Street AME Church in Dothan.

Directs that a copy of this resolution be provided to Reverend Narcisse as evidence of the esteem in which she is held by the Alabama House of Representatives.
