Commends Brookwood High School for being designated a 2014 Banner School by the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) based on outstanding programs and service to students.

Recognizes the school's apprenticeship program with BLG Logistics, Incorporated, a German-based company, in which eight students participated during the inaugural year.

Students received classroom instruction three days per week covering health and safety, logistics, warehousing, and Mercedes-Benz-specific training, followed by two-hour unpaid shifts at the BLG warehouse each day.

Upon completion of the 18-week program and high school graduation, all eight students were hired as full-time employees of BLG Logistics.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to Brookwood High School for appropriate display.
