Commends Ean Thomas Hayes, a 10-year-old fifth-grader at R.E. Thompson School, for his outstanding achievement as a trailblazer at Camp Courage in October 2013 at Ivy Green in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

Recognizes Hayes as an exceptional student with ambitions to write short stories or create video games, and notes his admiration for his humor, vivacious personality, and love of pets, especially cats.

Acknowledges Camp Courage as an intensive three-day program for visually impaired and hearing impaired children ages 7-14, sponsored by the Helen Keller Birthplace Foundation, American Optometric Association Foundation, University of North Alabama, and University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The Alabama House of Representatives honors and commends Ean Thomas Hayes for his diligent pursuit of excellence and extends best wishes for his continuing success in the future.
