Commends Camdyn Mardis, a nine-year-old third-grader at Hatton Elementary School in Leighton, Alabama, for his outstanding achievement at Camp Courage in October 2013.

Camp Courage is a three-day intensive program for visually impaired and hearing impaired children ages 7-14, held at Ivy Green (Helen Keller's birthplace) in Tuscumbia, Alabama, and sponsored by the Helen Keller Birthplace Foundation, American Optometric Association Foundation, University of North Alabama, and University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Recognizes Camdyn Mardis as an exceptional student with ambition to become a doctor and notes his kindness, playful personality, and interests in baseball, Legos, video games, and camping.

Honors Camdyn Mardis for his diligent pursuit of excellence at a young age and extends best wishes for his continuing success in the future.
