Commends Alfred Agee, Jr., for outstanding achievements and longtime dedicated service at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama.

Recognizes Mr. Agee's employment beginning in October 1959 and his distinction as the first African-American in a management position at the hotel, serving in multiple roles including Bell Captain, Catering Supervisor, Security, and Head Bellman starting in 1975.

Notes Mr. Agee earned acclaim as "The Epitome of Southern Hospitality" and "The General" for his exceptional service, knowledge of hotel history, and numerous Superstar Pins for Employee Excellence.

Acknowledges his family life with wife Yvonne and five children, his 50th Anniversary celebration at the Grand Hotel, and the City of Fairhope's proclamation of October 15, 2009, as "Al Agee, Jr. Day" in his honor.

Directs that a copy of this resolution be provided to Mr. Agee as evidence of the esteem in which he is held.
