Brandon Womack of Scottsboro is commended for winning his sixth state wrestling championship at the 2014 AHSAA Wrestling Championships in Huntsville, Alabama.

Womack holds career records of 422 wins and only 8 losses, with 327 career pins, recognized as the most celebrated wrestler in Alabama history.

Womack won 37 career tournament championships and was named Class 5A Most Outstanding Wrestler five times, competing in weight classes ranging from 103 pounds to 160 pounds.

Womack finished his senior season at Scottsboro High School with a perfect 77-0 record, the most wins by any Alabama wrestler in a single perfect season.

Womack is one of only two wrestlers in Alabama history to win six state championships, and the House of Representatives honors him with heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for future success.
