HR 255 - Mourning the Death of Iris Leigh Colvin

• Iris Leigh Colvin of Carrollton, Alabama, died on February 1, 2014, at age 70 years.

• Born April 17, 1943, in Pickens County, Alabama, she was the daughter of Ira Colvin and Lois Atkins Colvin Robison.

• She was a member of Carrollton United Methodist Church, a former employee of Bryce Hospital and DHR, and a resident of Pickens County.

• Survivors include her brothers Ronnie Colvin (Jennifer) and Ira "Bennie" Colvin; and nieces and nephews Julie, Rebecca, Chad, Flossie, and Ira.

• The Alabama House of Representatives records her death with deep sadness and offers this resolution in tribute to her life and with sympathy to her family.
