Commends Ahbee Orton, a 13-year-old seventh-grader at Florence Middle School, for outstanding achievement as a trailblazer at Camp Courage in October 2013 at Ivy Green in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

Recognizes Orton as an exceptional student with ambition to become a teacher who was selected for the inaugural session of Camp Courage, which included educational, social, and inspirational activities such as arts and crafts, music, drama, field trips, and discussions.

Notes Orton's talents including singing, piano playing, technology use, and reading, and acknowledges her happy yet thoughtful personality.

Describes Camp Courage as a three-day intensive program for visually impaired and hearing impaired children ages 7-14, sponsored by the Helen Keller Birthplace Foundation, American Optometric Association Foundation, University of North Alabama, and University of Alabama at Birmingham.
