Commends Hannah Brown on being selected Miss Trussville 2014 and competing in the Miss Alabama pageant in June at Samford University as part of Miss America preliminaries.

Recognizes Brown as an accomplished freshman at The University of Alabama, daughter of Robert and Susanne Brown, who earned her title through hard work, diligence, and commitment to service.

Acknowledges Brown's platform "Reading for Success: Promoting a Positive Outlook Towards Reading," established in 2011, through which she works with elementary school students in her local area to encourage literacy.

Notes Brown will perform a jazz dance to "Steam Heat" from the Broadway show "The Pajama Game" in the competition.
