Commends Officer Jonathan Robbins of the Birmingham Police Department as a nominee for the 2014 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement.

On December 1, 2013, Officer Robbins responded with Officers Travis Hendrix and Henry Higgins to back up Officer Demarcus Mitchell on I-59 at the I-65 interchange where a pedestrian had positioned himself to be struck by traffic.

Officer Robbins, along with Officers Hendrix and Higgins, grabbed Officer Mitchell and the suicidal subject to prevent both from falling over a bridge railing.

The resolution recognizes Officer Robbins' demonstration of quick thinking, bravery, and dedication to duty in preserving lives during the crisis.

Directs that Officer Robbins receive a copy of the resolution as a token of the House of Representatives' admiration and esteem.
