Recognizes Officer Travis Hendrix of the Birmingham Police Department as a nominee for the 2014 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement.

On December 1, 2013, Officer Hendrix responded with Officers Jonathan Robbins and Henry Higgins to assist Officer Demarcus Mitchell with a suicidal pedestrian positioned on an interstate bridge railing at the I-59 and I-65 interchange.

Officer Hendrix, along with Officers Robbins and Higgins, prevented Officer Mitchell and the male subject from falling over the bridge edge by grabbing both individuals.

Honors Officer Hendrix's demonstrated quick-thinking, bravery, and dedication to duty that preserved lives during the crisis.

Directs that Officer Hendrix receive a copy of the resolution as a token of the House's admiration and esteem.
