• Acknowledges her service as regent of the Tidence Lane Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, State Historian of the Alabama Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, president of the Friends of the Scottsboro Public Library with 25 years of library board service, and member of the Huguenot Society of America.

• Credits her efforts to preserve and restore the Scottsboro Freight Depot into a museum and the christening of the Scottsboro Public Library's genealogy department as "The Ann B. Chambless Genealogy Room."
