Honors Ashley Archer of Decatur, Alabama as a Distinguished Finalist for the 2014 Prudential Spirit of Community Award, presented by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

Recognizes Archer's aluminum can recycling project titled "Cause We Can," through which she raised almost $1,400 as a senior at Decatur High School.

Notes that funds from the recycling project were donated to help dig a well in the Dominican Republic, with Archer securing recycling company assistance, promoting the project community-wide, and making and selling T-shirts to raise funds and awareness.

Commends Archer for her outstanding record of volunteer service, peer leadership, and community spirit.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to Archer with congratulations and best wishes for future endeavors.
