Mourns the death of Mrs. Berta Lou Lewis Springer of Echola, Alabama, who died on February 16, 2014, at age 94.

Recognizes her birth on May 25, 1919, in the Echola community and her descent from Sullivan, White, Lewis, and Brown families, early settlers of West Tuscaloosa County.

Notes her lifelong membership in Dunns Creek Baptist Church and her family's significant roles in the church's history.

Survived by son Ron Springer, daughter Diane McCool (Harold), four grandchildren, six great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons, plus numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
