The Alabama House of Representatives mourns the death of Mr. Henry Arnold Pike of Ashville, Alabama, who died on February 24, 2014, at age 85.

Served as Superintendent for the City of Leeds for 27 years, member of Leeds Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years, and Captain of Leeds Reserve Police Department for 10 years.

Served as a World War II veteran with honor and distinction.

Survived by wife Betty Jo Pike, daughter Jo Ann Nichols, four sons (Aubrey, Ronnie, Carl, and William), and sisters Grace McCay and Velma Green.

Resolution offers tribute to his life and extends heartfelt sympathy to his family and the community.
