Commends Mr. Charles Richard Vedane for receiving a 2014 Rosetta James Foundation Pioneer Award and recognition at the foundation's "Honoring Our Elders" Celebration.

Recognizes Vedane's distinguished aerospace engineering career, including systems testing of Jupiter ICBMs at Army Ballistic Missile Command in Huntsville, Mercury and Saturn testing at Marshall Space Flight Center, and management of Space Operations at Teledyne Brown Engineering.

Honors Vedane's decades of interfaith and community service work, including founding the Interfaith Mission Service in 1963 and volunteer work with organizations serving emergency services, transportation, senior care, and social justice advocacy.

Notes Vedane's military service and educational credentials, including a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics from St. Louis University's Parks College of Aeronautical Technology and aviation licenses.
