Creates the Etowah County Mega Sports Complex Authority composed of the resolution sponsor, three persons appointed by Etowah County House Legislative Delegation members, the Etowah County Chamber of Commerce President, the Etowah County Tourism Director, two persons appointed by the Mountain-Lakes Tourism Association, the Etowah County Commission chairperson, a person appointed by the Etowah County Mayors Association, and a person jointly appointed by the Mayor and City Council of Gadsden.

Authority members serve at the pleasure of their appointing authority and shall study and report on developing a mega sports complex for Etowah County, including feasibility, components, location, acquisition and maintenance costs, and possible funding sources.

Authority must consult with and visit other local governmental entities in the state that have existing mega sports complexes.

Authority shall present its report to the Etowah County Legislative Delegation no later than 60 days before the 2015 Regular Session commences.

Authority continues in existence indefinitely with all power and authority necessary to accomplish the resolution's purposes.
