Commends Hampton Cove Middle School in Huntsville, Alabama for receiving the 2013 Lighthouse Award from the Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence organization.

Recognizes that Hampton Cove Middle School was one of only 11 schools in the United States to receive this prestigious award in 2013 and received recognition at the BRSE Awards Banquet in Orlando, Florida.

Notes the school was selected based on superior performance in nine major categories including Student Focus and Support, School Organization and Culture, Challenging Standards and Curriculum, Active Teaching and Learning, Technology Integration, Professional Community, Leadership and Educational Vitality, School Family and Community Partnerships, and Indicators of Success.
