Extends sincere commendation from the Alabama House of Representatives to Edward and Justine Threats on their 50th wedding anniversary celebration scheduled for April 22, 2014, at Ross Bridges.

Recognizes Edward and Justine were married on April 20, 1964, after meeting through the Westfield Wildcat Marching Band over 54 years prior.

Acknowledges Justine's 30 years of dedication to Children's Hospital and Edward's 35 years at Koppers, plus his 12 years serving on the Fairfield High School Board of Education after retirement.

Notes the couple reared two children, Andre and Gina, and have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who will join in the celebration.

Directs that Edward and Justine Threats receive a copy of this resolution with warm wishes for many more years of marriage.
