Commends Steve Stewart on his induction into the Alabama Amateur Softball Association Hall of Fame as one of eight members in the 2014 class.

Stewart has played slow pitch softball for 39 years and achieved 14 District Titles, 10 State Crowns, and five World or National Championships.

Named ASA All-American four times, including at age 46 in 2003, and won Most Valuable Player of the 1987 State Church Tournament with 34 hits in 35 at-bats.

Helped organize and lead the Everlasting Life/CIA Church Team to six consecutive State Championships and several World Championships.

House of Representatives extends commendations and best wishes for continuing success in future endeavors.
