SB139 Summary

• Continues the existence and functioning of the Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute until October 1, 2018, pursuant to the Alabama Sunset Law.

• Preserves Code of Alabama 1975 Sections 41-10-720 to 41-10-726, which establish and govern the Alabama Construction Recruitment Institute.

• Implements the Sunset Committee's recommendation for continuance of the institute rather than allowing it to expire.

• Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
