Allows residents of Alabama who have been medically diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder to request the letters "ASD" be displayed on their driver's license.

The Director of Public Safety shall establish rules governing the proof required for individuals requesting the "ASD" designation on their license.

The Department of Public Safety may not charge any additional fee beyond the standard driver's license fee for adding the "ASD" designation.

All other contents and requirements of an "ASD" license remain the same as a standard driver's license.

The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
