Authorizes the municipal magistrate or judge of the Town of Summerdale to assess a $100 warrant recall fee on defendants seeking to recall a failure to appear warrant for municipal ordinance violations.

Warrant recall fee must be paid by the defendant at the time the warrant is recalled.

Warrant recall is discretionary and the town is not required to recall any warrant that has been issued.

All warrant recall fees collected by the Town of Summerdale Municipal Court shall be deposited into the Town of Summerdale Corrections Fund and allocated according to Code of Alabama 1975 Section 11-47-7.1.

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
