Imposes a $25 booking fee as court costs in Elmore County against defendants convicted or pleading guilty in circuit or district court cases if booked or incarcerated in Elmore County Jail.

Court clerk shall enter the booking fee on the docket sheet and collect it in the same manner as other court costs, in addition to all other fines, fees, and charges.

Booking fee cannot be waived unless all other fees, assessments, costs, fines, and charges associated with the case are also waived.

Monthly collections of booking fees shall be remitted to the Elmore County Commission for deposit in the county general fund for Sheriff's Office operations, including motor vehicles, information technology equipment, and other law enforcement purposes.

Act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
