Recognizes McCrary's distinguished tenure for guiding Alabama Power Company through natural disasters and making positive community impact.

Acknowledges his career progression through positions including Vice President for Southern Nuclear Operating Company, President of Southern Company Generation, Chief Production Officer of Southern Company, and President of Southern Power Company.

Notes his civic involvement as Chairman of the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama and service on boards of Regions Financial Corporation, Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc., Protective Life Corporation, the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Southern Research Institute, and Auburn University Board of Trustees.

Recognizes his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and Juris Doctorate Degree from Birmingham School of Law, his induction into the State of Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame, and his employment with Alabama Power beginning in summer 1970.
