Amends Act 33 of the 1931 Regular Session to change the election of Lauderdale County Superintendent of Education to be conducted by qualified electors residing outside the corporate limits of the City of Florence, beginning with the next election after the act's effective date.

Superintendent shall hold office for a four-year term and until a successor is elected and qualified, with removal possible only for good cause.

Election officials shall conduct superintendent elections in conformity with the amended act, with nominations made through primary elections like other county officers.

Superintendent shall assume office on the first Monday in January immediately following the election.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
