• Requires examiners to file a verified examination report of insurance companies within 60 days of completion of the examination.

• Allows the examined insurer 30 days to file a written rebuttal or submission regarding the examination report.

• Authorizes the Commissioner of Insurance to adopt the report, reject it with direction to reopen the examination, or call for an investigatory hearing within 30 days of receiving rebuttals.

• Requires the Commissioner to hold examination reports as private and confidential for 20 days, then make them available for public inspection unless a court stays publication or the Commissioner deems it necessary to protect the insurer or serve public interest.
