Amends Section 6-5-332 of the Code of Alabama 1975 (Good Samaritan Law) to add subsection (h) providing civil immunity for volunteer caregivers.

Grants civil immunity to any person who volunteers without cost to provide temporary care under the direction of a primary home caregiver for a person with a disability or chronic illness.

Protects volunteers from civil liability for acts or omissions in rendering care, or for failure to provide or arrange care, provided the volunteer acts as a reasonably prudent person would act under the same or similar circumstances.

Requires that volunteers perform care in good faith and without charging for goods or services to qualify for immunity protection.

Takes effect on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval or becoming law.
