• Requires owners of convenience stores licensed to sell alcoholic beverages to adopt a policy prohibiting placement of movable containers of alcoholic beverages in locations easily accessible to minors.

• Defines "convenience store" as a business primarily engaged in retail sale of convenience goods or convenience goods and gasoline, employing one or more employees, excluding hotels, taverns, restaurants, pharmacies, gas stations, grocery stores, supermarkets, businesses exceeding 10,000 square feet, and agricultural operations.

• Directs the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to adopt implementation rules within 60 days of enactment.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
