Authorizes the City of Valley in Chambers County to permit the sale of alcoholic beverages after 12:00 p.m. on Sundays, subject to voter approval by referendum.

City council may regulate which retail licensees sell alcoholic beverages on Sunday, whether sales are for off-premises consumption, and other aspects of Sunday sales following referendum approval.

Referendum shall be held at the next regular election or at a special election called by the city council, with costs paid by the city.

A second or subsequent referendum cannot be held within 12 months following a failed referendum.

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
