Requires motor vehicles or trailers transporting loads of logs, long pulpwood, poles, or posts extending more than four feet beyond the vehicle's rear to display an amber strobe light or amber LED light equipped with a multidirectional lens.

Amber light must flash at least 60 flashes per minute and be visible at least 500 feet from the rear and both sides of the projecting load, operating at any time of day or night when the vehicle is operated or parked on public roadways.

If LED lights are used, drivers must carry spare charged batteries and maintain at least 85 percent of multiple LED lights in operable condition.

Requires one bright red or orange fluorescent warning flag not less than 18 inches square affixed to the rear of the projecting load; two flags required if the load is wider than two feet to indicate maximum load width.

Act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
