Defines "long-term antibiotic therapy" as oral, intramuscular, or intravenous antibiotics administered singly or in combination for periods exceeding four weeks

Authorizes licensed physicians to prescribe, administer, or dispense long-term antibiotic therapy to eliminate infection or control symptoms upon clinical diagnosis of tick borne disease

Requires clinical diagnosis to be based on medical history and physical examination alone or in conjunction with supportive testing data

Mandates that clinical diagnosis and treatment be documented in the patient's medical record by the prescribing physician

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor
