Adds Section 6-10-6.1 to the Code of Alabama 1975 specifying that wages, salaries, and other compensation of residents are not personal property for purposes of exemption from debt collection processes.

Excludes wages, salaries, and compensation from protection under the personal property exemption in Section 6-10-6 and Section 204 of the Alabama Constitution of 1901.

Makes wages, salaries, and compensation subject to garnishment, levy, sale under execution, and other debt collection processes.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon becoming law.
