AL HB636

Expands the corporate limits of the City of Lincoln in Talladega County to include Lots 4 and 5 of Riverview Lane Subdivision, located in Section 28, Township 17 South, Range 4 East.

Prohibits the annexation from affecting or extending the police jurisdiction of the City of Lincoln.

Establishes that any property annexed to the City of Lincoln that is not contiguous to the main body of the city shall not extend the city's police jurisdiction beyond the main body.

Requires a map showing the proposed annexation territory to be on file in the office of the Judge of Probate in Talladega County for public inspection.

Act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
