• Amends Section 15-20A-11 of the Alabama Code to add camp facilities used by children to existing residency restrictions for adult sex offenders.

• Prohibits adult sex offenders from establishing or maintaining a residence or living accommodation within 2,000 feet of any school, childcare facility, or camp facility used by children, unless exempted under Sections 15-20A-23 and 15-20A-24.

• Maintains existing prohibitions on sex offenders living within 2,000 feet of former victims or immediate family members of victims, with limited exceptions for family relationships and certain circumstances.

• Violation of the residency restriction constitutes a Class C felony.

• Effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
