The City Council of Wetumpka may authorize on-premises consumption of alcoholic beverages by restaurants, hotels, and night clubs on Sundays between 12:00 p.m. (noon) and 9:30 p.m.

Licensed vendors may sell alcoholic beverages on any Sunday when New Year's Eve (December 31) occurs, beginning at 12:00 p.m. (noon).

Sales are limited to properly licensed retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board serving the general public within Wetumpka city limits.

Outside of authorized hours, it remains unlawful for licensed vendors to sell, dispense, or permit consumption of alcoholic beverages on Sunday.

The City of Wetumpka may enact ordinances to regulate any aspect of Sunday alcoholic beverage sales.
