• Amends Alabama's Self-Service Storage Act to add definitions for active duty, email, late fee, service member, and verified mail, and expands definitions of last known address and self-service storage facility.

• Authorizes storage facility owners to notify occupants of default and lien enforcement via verified mail or email, and permits posting sale notices on publicly accessible websites instead of only in newspapers.

• Removes requirement that default notices include property descriptions and denial of access notifications; establishes that sales with three or more unrelated bidders are deemed commercially reasonable.

• Allows owners to impose reasonable late fees (minimum $20/month or 20% of rent, whichever is greater) for unpaid rent and specifies procedures for selling motor vehicles or vessels after 60 days of nonpayment.

• Provides armed forces service members deployed overseas on active duty for 180+ days an additional 90-day grace period after returning home before owners can enforce liens on stored property.
