Recognizes the 23rd Annual Delta Day at the Alabama State Capitol on Thursday, April 16, 2015, and commends Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Honors Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, founded January 13, 1913, by 22 collegiate women at Howard University, which has grown to over 250,000 predominantly Black and college-educated members in more than 1,000 chapters throughout the United States and abroad.

Acknowledges the sorority's national Five Point Program focusing on Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.

Recognizes current and former Delta Sigma Theta members serving in the Alabama Legislature: Senator Linda Coleman, former Senator Sundra Escott, and Representatives Laura Hall, Merika Coleman, Mary Moore, and Pebblin Warren.

Commends the organization's significant contributions to educational, civic, and social advancement for young women and their communities, with the resolution to be presented to Cheryl W. Turner, Southern Regional Director.
