Recognizes Officer Reynard Robinson of the Huntsville Police Department as a nominee for the 2015 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, the state's highest law enforcement award for extraordinary courage in the line of duty.

On April 4, 2014, Officer Robinson and Officer Jason Moore responded to a domestic dispute where the offender fired a shotgun at their vehicles and subsequently shot Officer Moore in the face, neck, and shoulder.

Officer Robinson took cover behind a tree and returned fire while providing cover fire that allowed the severely injured Officer Moore to escape safely; the incident lasted several hours and ended with the offender's death.

Directs that Officer Robinson receive a copy of this resolution as evidence of the Legislature's admiration and esteem for his quick thinking, diligence, and courageous actions.
