Commends the Lauderdale County High School Lady Tigers Basketball Team for winning their fourth consecutive AHSAA Girls State Basketball Championship, tying a record and setting a new AHSAA record for most consecutive wins among boys and girls teams.

The Lady Tigers defeated Pisgah 70-39 in the championship game, finished the season with a 39-0 record, and now have an 84-game winning streak; they have won 12 state championships overall.

In the championship game, Ivy Wallen scored 22 points and was named tournament Most Valuable Player, while Allison Craig Cruce had 16 points and 12 rebounds; the team shot 50 percent from the field while holding Pisgah to 25.4 percent shooting.

Team roster includes Emma Wallen, Ella Wallen, Ivy Wallen, Emma Covington, Maggie Covington, Allison Craig Cruce, Tamia Watkins, Ashley Comer, Jaide Ellick, Caroline Parker, Audra Grisham, Haiden Olive, Sadie McIntyre, Makayla Liles, and Darah Wiginton under Head Coach Brant Llewellyn and Assistant Coach Carla Clemons.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented for school display and extends highest commendation to the team for their exceptional achievement and representation of their school and community.
