Honors Joe and Patty Lambrecht as recipients of the 2015 Small Farmers of the Year award presented by the Alabama Natural Resources Conservation Service at the Federation of Southern Cooperatives 47th Annual Meeting in Epes, Alabama.

Recognizes Oakview Farms in Wetumpka, Alabama, established in 1998 as a part-time stone burr gristmill operation that transitioned to full-time farming in 2004.

Acknowledges the farm's primary products including stone-ground cornmeal, grits, hydroponic lettuce, persimmons, strawberries, blueberries, and seasonal vegetables, along with honeybees, goats, and chickens.

Commends the Lambrechts for community engagement including sponsoring 4-H club activities, hosting more than 175 groups for farm tours annually, mentoring producers, and serving on the Alabama Farmers Federation State Bee and Honey Committee.

Directs presentation of the resolution to Joe and Patty Lambrecht in recognition of their conservation practices and contribution to local food production.
