Mourns the death of Mr. John Leo Smith of Grove Hill, Alabama, who died on April 6, 2015, at age 90.

Honors Mr. Smith's military service as a US Marine in World War II and his civilian work as a truck driver.

Recognizes his longtime membership and service at Orange Hill Baptist Church, including roles as usher, deacon, and Sunday School Teacher, as well as his volunteer work at Grove Hill Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors include his wife Allie Mae Smith, three sons, 11 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and relatives.

The Alabama House of Representatives offers this resolution as tribute to Mr. Smith's legacy and in sympathy to his family and friends.
