Posthumously honors and commends William T. Dumas on his induction into the Auburn University Agricultural Alumni Association Hall of Honor.

Recognizes Dumas's distinguished 35-year teaching and research career at Auburn University as a faculty member starting in 1948, overseeing a 370-acre Agricultural Engineering Research Unit in Marvyn, Alabama.

Acknowledges his pioneering cotton mechanization research and contributions to multiple agricultural engineering fields including tillage, weed control, and insecticide application, as well as his service as mentor to generations of students.

Notes his U.S. Army Corps of Engineers service during World War II with decorations including the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, EAME Campaign Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal, and Victory Medal, retiring as a lieutenant colonel in 1982.

Directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to his family, with his Hall of Honor induction being celebrated at the February 5, 2015 banquet at the Auburn Marriott Opelika Hotel and Conference Center.
