Nominates Officer Jason Moore of the Huntsville Police Department for the 2015 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, the state's highest law enforcement award for extraordinary courage in the line of duty.

On April 4, 2014, Officer Moore and Officer Reynard Robinson responded to a domestic dispute where an offender fired a shotgun at their vehicles; the offender then shot Officer Moore in the face, neck, and shoulder when ordered to drop his weapon.

Despite severe injuries, Officer Moore returned fire while Officer Robinson provided cover fire from behind a tree, enabling Officer Moore to escape to safety.

A SWAT team arrived and secured the perimeter; the armed offender was eventually killed after a conflict lasting several hours.

The House of Representatives recognizes and honors Officer Jason Moore as a nominee for the 2015 Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement and directs that he receive a copy of the resolution.
